South Azerbaijani Turks and Al Ahwazi Arabs

My notes on Martyrs day of Al Ahwaz movement.

Güney Azerbaycan ve Iraq Türkmenleri...

AZAD TV-nin çoxsaylı suallarına cavab verən GAİP Strateji Araşdırmalar Mərkəzinin rəhbəri Oğuz Türk bəy Türkmənlərin bu günkü durumunu şərh edərək, Güney Azərbaycanda onların səhvini təkrar etməmək üçün siyasi təşkilatlarımızın güclənməsinin labüdlüyünü vurğuladı.

South Azerbaijani Turks and Turkmens of Iraq

We as South Azerbaijani Turks, consider Iraqi Turkmens as brothers and as the same people. We share the same past, the same present, and the same foreseeable future. After the collapse of Turkish empires of Ottomans and Qajars, both Turkmans and Azerbaijanis lost their self rule, identity as Turks, and forcibly assimilated to Iranian-Persian, or Iraqi Arab identity; dragging behind in their names, as a sign of being owned by others, Iranian Azeris, or Iraqi Turkmens. Iraqi Turkmens, living under very unfortunate conditions, both in time of Saddam and in time of Iranian backed and American blessed Shia government, were almost always ignored by Turkish world.
Energy hungry Turkey bartered the loyalty of their brethren Turks with the oil which is illegitimately under Kurdish control in northern Iraq. Coming to the power of Islamist leaning Erdogan government in Turkey, caring for Turks who were left out of present Turkey as a result of collapse of Ottoman empire not being in top of the list for AKP, and Iran's very active pressure and influence over Iraq's American installed sectarian shia government, brought about the dire situation for the Iraqi Turkmens now.
While Kurds and shias are armed to the teeth, butchering Turks of Iraq for the last decades, Turkmens were not efficiently and sufficiently responsive to the surrounding situation around them. They were moved from area to area, town to town, killed, bombed and exiled by hundreds of thousands. As a result of strong anti Turkism from Iraqi, Iranian, and in some cases Turkish governments, now, at the present time Turkmen population of Iraq has melted away, settling in Turkey, US, and Europe as refugees and in exile. At the present time, Turkmens of Iraq are not considered as a real and significant player in the political and or military game played in Iraq. Even when the situation is being discussed in the world, there are mentions of Sunni Arabs, Shias, and Kurds, as nations in Iraq. There is no mention of Turkmens much. This is as painful as when the Russian occupation of Crimea were being discussed, there were scarcely mention of Turks of Crimea. Now, with great regret we can say that Turkmen nation of Iraq has almost diminished as a nation and as social and political entity. Now that American and Iranian backed sectarian Shia government is not functioning well and it is in the verge of collapse, Turkmens of Iraq are too late to get together as a nation and create their own military and claim their own land. This tragic situation might happen to us in South Azerbaijani too. That is why we say that we would have same foreseeable future too.
As we have stated in our doctrine of independence and freedom for South Azerbaijan, we believe in achieving independence and freedom from occupying powers, by any means, specially armed struggle. In South Azerbaijani Independence Party (SAIP), we condemn every kind of terrorism being conducted in Iraq, including extremist jihadists, and especially Iraqi sectarian Shia government's and Kurdish terrorism against Iraqi Turkmens. In our view, Iraqi Turkmens are the real victim of any kind of social, political, and or military activity from the time of formation of the fake British concocted country called Iraq.
We would like to draw attention of Turkish, British, and US governments to the Turkmen's destruction as a nation and as a social and political entity in Iraq.
We hereby declare that we consider Turkmens of Iraq as the same people of South Azerbaijani Turks, and we are fully in support of our brother's struggle for existence in the very volatile situation in the present Iraq.
Long live Turkmen Azerbaijani brotherhood.

Yoxluğa Çıxdım...

Evin yıxılsın,
Ne gözel idi bütxanem,
Qırmızı, elvan, yaşıl, rengareng,

Ayartdın meni, soxdun içeri...
Girdim işte...

Birer birer, vurdum, devirdim, yıxdım,
aşırdım, çevirdim, vurdum, dağıtdım,
qırdım, ovdum, yoxa çıxardım...

Elimde qelem, gözümde gözlük.

Sildim süpürdüm, boşaltdım, boşa çıxartdım.
Gönül evini...

Sürtdüm, parlatdım, güzgülendirdim...
duvarları,
özümü gördüm.
Gördükce,...  görmedim,
itdim,
itirdim...
yoxluğa çıxdım...
